This is an opportunity to participate in an international interfaith conference at one of the leading Universities in India. Scholars and practitioners of interfaith from India, the UK and North America will contribute to the conference. This is your opportunity to participate in the conference by offering an academic paper on interfaith, or by attending it and taking part in the discussion. Those attending the conference will also have the opportunity to have a short tour of the Punjab including visits to Anandpur Sahib, where Guru Gobind Singh formalized the institution of the Khalsa on Vaisakhi, 1699, and the Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar. The cost, including conference attendance and accommodation at Punjabi University, and the short tour of Punjab, is £150 which is payable in India. You will be responsible for your own travel arrangements to Patiala and visa for India. However, the IIC office can give advice regarding them. A previous international interfaith conference, jointly sponsored by Punjabi University and the World Congress of Faiths, was very successful and attracted scholars from the UK, North America and India.
